yes you can replace just the one side. You may want to look at the slide pins on the other side and coat them with a good axle grease or anti seize to keep the moving good.
haha, yea I'm doing full brake change out up front, I'm sure its been done though...
Also, I will be doing a slide pin swap on the driver's side as long as that caliper is still in good shape.
Are the NAPA remans a good route? I noticed they were stamped with the Ford symbol in the picture on NAPA's website, does that mean they are remaned Ford OEM parts or not necessarily?

Most parts stores should but I think there was a link on that other tread for O Rielly's or call and ask your local parts house. Good luck with brake job.

It's what I used on the rear of my F250.
The Napa caliper looked good, smelled good, tasted good, and works good!
First, the power slot rotors and hawk pads came from Clay today unexpectedly so that was a great surprise which led me to pick up the rest of the things I needed.
So I went to Napa. I got calipers for the front, the left side they had a complete assembly caliper, bracket, and slide pins all assembled and greased; and a remaned caliper and new pins for the right since they didn't have the full pre-assembled set up for right side in stock. It was the same price to get the caliper and new pins separately as it was to get the full set up with a new bracket pre-assembled and greased with new dust boots, so I said why not.
Since I still have to put the new slide pins in on the right side I picked up what I could find at Napa. I know it was said not to get anti-seize but they didn't have any Permatex brake caliper grease and the stuff I got is made by Permatex and says its good to 1600* and lists brake calipers under its recommended uses...so the question is what do you guys think?
I'm planning on doing the full brake job tomorrow so any help before then would be appreciated. Also, I picked up new brake lines to replace the old corroded ones that go from the frame to the caliper and plugs to replace the unused vacuum fitting on the knuckle since they're about sheared off...I know you can lube the bearings through the ABS whole my question is could you do the same through this whole, I don't have ABS
