I have a 99 f250 I need help with leveling out the front end. I have no clue what I need so i Took pictures of my truck to see if anyone can help me out.
I purchased a leveling kit from Truxx. The kit is pretty inexpensive. Just make sure you get the one for a 250. I had to go back and get the one inch block for the rear.

I guess im confused cause that 2nd pic to me it looks like a body lift. All of my other buddys trucks don't have that separation from the frame like that
I have seen bed spacers like that on body lifts. Are there any spacers on the cab mounts? or the bed bolts? That will tell you if it is a body lift. The kit I bought was a 2.5" leveling kit for the front and a 1" block for the rear. My truck is a 2005 crew cab shortbed F250. Hope some of this helps.
If i had to guess your rear already looks pretty high and if the picture isn't deceiving i would say you have the F350 blocks in the rear. You should be ok with just getting a add-a-leaf for the front. You could also look into a shackle lift.
To jgibb150, your 05 truck has the front coil springs were the OP's 99 truck has leafs and uses a totally different set-up. Also you mentioned you added a 1" block to the rear. It is bad practice to "stack" blocks and can become a safety issue. If that is your case you should consider going to one complete block.
Sorry I guess I didnt see that it was a 99. I removed my rear factory blocks and replaced them with an inch taller than factory block. Thanks for the heads up though DAVE67FD.

Thanks for the help. Now with this whole add a leaf thing how high should i go with?
Measure the rear from ground to wheel well center and do the same for the front and see your difference. Choose what will get you the closest being on the positive end. For example if you measured 1 1/2" go with a 2 inch kit.
I don't really have any experience with lifting a front leaf truck so do further investigating on what is available and your choices.

I just measured my Truck the back is 44in from ground to wheel well. The front is 38in from ground to wheel well. Does that sound right would I have to get a 6 inch lift for the front.
Any one used an air lift in the front? I had firestone helper kit on an f150 for when i was towing and it was great! Now i have a 99 F250 and im thinking about putting it on this truck instead of the factory overloads in the back. I dont like it when i bounce off the overloads when im empty. So if i put them in the back, why not the front? Seems like a good idea unless somebody can tell me otherwise.
It's kind of hard to see but that front end doesn't look 6" low? If you start fooling with 6" lift springs you're going to need a lot more parts besides just the springs. Those rear blocks look like the F350 blocks but measure them they could be an aftermarket set. Re-measure the truck on a level surface. Is there anything under the front springs? Diesel? One of the suspension gurus will be by, be patient. This is a cheap bump for ya if nothing else.
I just went out and measured mine 42" front and 44" rear. It's not level where parked and there's a butt load of snow out there so I might be off but not much. Your rear end seems right. I just did a 3" in the front and 4" in the back.
