I have one from a 08 cummins in mine. It is not a direct replacement, there is no way, no how that it will even fit in the stock location inside the tapered radiator core supports. That IC is the size of my radiator. I moved the IC infront of the A/c condenser, mounted it, and added 9 7/8'' to my IC pipes to reach the IC. I had to cut some out of the header panel to clear the IC, and the IC is actually mounted to part of the header panel.
Mine is a huge IC compared to even a stock 7.3 or 6.0 IC. I'm not sure if the 06 IC's are the same size or not.
If it was a direct replacement, I would have thought I would have heard of alot more people doing it, but I haven't
Mine goes all the way down to the P/S cooler, all the way up to the top, it actually pushes up about 3/4'' on the rubber cover where the hood latch is, and the IC tube ends just barely fit in the widest part of the core support
