I don't necessarily want to see any car maker have severe issues but I do want the American public to see that Ford has evolved into a car builder that not has style but cutting edge high quality products.
Likewise, Ford's arrogance in the past has cost them big. Lets all hope that they can stay humble and focused on a high quality and exciting future.
Something related to this is Consumer Reports. They continue to have blinders on and recommend imports over the big 3. Even when they have not even driven them.
My brother runs his own shop specializing in toyota/honda "after warranty" service........The stereotype I posted previously is unflatteringly accurate for a large number of the owners (not all).........Oh, the stories he has about toyota "Quality"
