quick question

hey guy's!! so ive got a 90 f150 with the 302, i was just wondering what is optimum running temp? because ive shut the truck off like 3 times recently because my sunpro temp gauge read 200. just wondering if that was right of me to think it was getting too hot. thank's in advance

I dont think 200 is all that bad. i could be wrong but boiling isnt till 212 and AF should go to 225-230. dont quote me tho, no numeric gauge in my truck. my 4.0 jeep runs a constant 205-210.
