Well, if it helps, IMO and I'm not alone in having it, a shortbed Ford 4x4 dentside is close to the pinnacle of truck manufacturing and to be a stepside pushs it over the top, lol. dump the ricer and trade up to some Detroit Iron from the end of the golden age. Do I sound biased here? Really though, I guess it depends on what you do with the Accord and what you will do with the Ford but seriously, down south at least, the shortbed 4x4 is king and always commands a premium. If its in good shape Id say its worth $3500
IMO...in today's economy, you can get a whoooole lotta truck for $3500. I've been seeing trucks that woulda sold for $5-6500 2-3 years ago selling in the $3500 price range today. IMO, the truck you linked to woulda been a 1500-2000 truck around these parts.
I don't think you guys read the whole ad. He's including an extra rebuilt 351M with a four barrrel set up. That and the truck are worth about $2500, so he isn't off by much on his asking price. You might be right on the bed though.
I've had both, two 351Ms that both gave excellent service and briefly owned a 460, all were stock and none got better than 12 mpg but all gave no problems.
