Here we go again. I got back from the Boise VA Medical Center (VAMC) after my foot surgery follow-up appointment.
My Mom received her cardiologist's "Okay" to have some dental work done. She was in the dentist's chair. The dentist's office took her blood pressure, per the cardiologist's orders, before beginning work and it was HIGH...like 218/140 high!
No dental work done today, because it's off the hospital to see the cardiologist. I haven't heard anything since the phone call from Mom.
Craig sorry to hear that, but yes she must be controled with that high blood pressure before anything. I hope that the cardiologist controls that pressure ASAP. Good luck. Prayers to her.
Thanks gang. The general consensus is her multiple blood pressure medications are reacting badly with each other and her other medications. They'll be working on fixing that situation.
UC Davis is about 20 mins from me. I would offer to help with anything you need done but im laid up myself, otherwise id say ask away...... Hope they get it all figured out man. I know it must be frustrating being so far away at times like this, but luckily you have family here to help. Prayers sent.
