Hey hows everyone tonight. I have been trying to connect AE to my truck and it tells me, "Due to vehicle weight, this vehicle is exempt from obd 2 requirements. To pull dtc's use test onboard systems." When I go to the test onboard systems tab all there is is evap systems test. I have connected to my truck many times and pulled my dtc's without a problem. I have always had the settings on auto. I also connected to a Contour this weekend without any problems. Any help is great. Sorry for the sloppy typing i'm tired.
Ae has no trouble connecting to my truck, it tells me that my truck is exempt from OBD 2 and won't retrieve the codes or let me do the on board tests. I will try manually setting it up and see if that helps, I have not had to in the past. I have had AE for about 2 years now and have connected to my truck several times with out any issues. I will also try entering the enhanced code again. I also bought from Clay. Hi Clay
I HAVE TRIED TO GET MY TO WORK ALSO AND FINALLY GAVE UP ABOUT 6 MONTHS AGO. I FORGET WHAT THE REASON WAS. I WILL HAVE TO HOOK UP AGAIN SOON AND TRY ONE MORE TIME.
