well i made a fuel system finally, got it all ready to go and just one last question. what size is the freeze plug that i will need to plug the lift pump hole? thanks!
hmm...forgot to get an after picture of it all cleaned up and painted LOL will be PLENTY to go after im done.
I can remember. It's on psn. The thread that used the cat filter on the lifted white truck. I'm on my phone or id link it for you. Search electric fuel.
It is metric. A bit bigger than 7/8". 29/32" or 15/16" expansion plugs are available. Metric equivalent is about 23 or 24mm I would guess. Be nice to find out for sure. F81Z-6026-CA is the Ford part number for the Superduty plug. I guess I'll order one up and find out.
7/8 fits good?
yeah that's not a finished product, that was when i was just taking progress pictures. i had to shorten the stand and move the pumps up a little bit, it hung down the frame a little too much. so tomorrow its getting painted up again, mounted to the frame and im tossing it all back together. i was just modding the lines today and getting it all ready for the final run tomorrow.
It works very well and cheaper then a pre built. And this was with all new pieces except the scrap steel I had for the bracket.
Also there is some brake line that I also had that is not in there and I borrowed a bender and flare tool from autozone to make the hard lines for the engine valley. And I need to double check some amounts but it can be done for 500 no problem. Ill try and post my writeup this weekend
Sorry I didnt get to post back up on my progress, it was a late night! When i get out of work I'll post up everything i ordered and bought at the hardware store. Part numbers is a stretch, I can never keep a hold on my receipts lol!
