Electrical Schematics

I have been looking for an electrical schematic for my 73 F-350. When I do a search on the site I found a thread for a 74 but nothing for a 73. I also bought the DVD manual for a 73 but it did not have electrical. That surprised me that it would be seperate.

Are they similar enough each year to not worry about it being a 73 only.

And does someone have a source. It looks like they would cost about $30 or is there a site where they are free.

The Haynes manual, number 788, for that series Ford has the schematics for all years.
Not that I am all that impressed with the Haynes manuals but the schematics seem accurate.
Haynes shows '73 and '74 different in some areas. I believe you'll find the ignition different for one thing.

I have your schematics

Which part of the schematic do you need? I have an entire (and very accurate) for the whole truck. Mike

Mcyondon, I am just starting a major restoration and I don't plan to do an entire new harness so I think I need the whole thing. I think I need the whole thing. Can yours be copied easially.

I bought a Haynes manual and I will look at it but I don't recall schematics.

My Haynes #788 has the copyright date of 1983. Schematics start Chapter 10 Chassis electrical systems, page 203. 1973 schematics start on page 203 and 1974 model schematics start page 208.

In the back of the Haynes

There should be a very accurate schematic in the back of the Haynes manual. I have one and it covers every single inch of wiring from the front bumper right to the tail lights and the color coding is correct too! Not knocking Chiltons but Haynes has dang good schematics. Or........until I figure out how to get them posted here, your welcome to e-mail me at charlsonmk@gmail.com and I'll reply with the schematics as attachments. There are only 3-4 pages for the whole truck and very accurate and easy to read. Mike
