The **** turned all the way to the left doesn't turn the courtesy lamp on. It comes on when the doors open but nothing at the switch. You can turn it all the way to left but no light. It's a 97 f350 but the older body styles of the 96 and earlier. Thanks

 

remove and inspect the headlight switch. after a couple of decades they are prone to failure and the wiring connector can be badly deformed from heat.

 

thanks. I wasn't sure if that was the only option. Does the rear cargo light come on when the switch is properly working? It does when the doors are open. Thanks again

I believe it does. It does on my 93 anyway and if I recall my friends 94 f250 it does so I would assume it would on yours.
