1970/72 F100/750: 19.5 gallon in cab fuel tank (D0TZ-9002-A).
In 1970, Ford replacedC1TZ-9002-H with DOTZ-9002-A for use as a service part replacement.
This D0TZ fuel tank has been reproduced by Blue Oval Truck Parts. They (and others selling this tank) list the same applications as the "newer" 1964/72 Ford Truck Parts Catalog.
Because, if this parts catalog was printed after 9/1/1970, it will only list the D0TZ part number for 1961/69's (and 1970/72's).
This parts catalog on a CD (sold by hipoparts.com) was scanned from a catalog that had a final printing of May 1975.
To find out what was "as original" you need an older 1964/72 truck parts catalog, or an O-S-I (Obsolete-Supercede-Interchange) catalog to update the part number.
Or, if you were a Ford partsman back then, and have a good memory, you don't need to look up diddly, cuz you already know this jazz.
btw: No such thing "as original" as a 1968 F100 w/a 302. 1969 was the FIRST year Ford offered the 302 in an F100.
