So, I for one think this is an excellent idea, as many of us sometimes have difficulties finding particular parts from time to time. Need something? Post up. Find something? Post up. If you have found what someone is looking for, let them know and see if a deal can be worked out.

What do you guys think?

Well I'll just kick this off, fantastic idea btw...I'd like to find a factory am/fm radio for my '84. So far I've found ZILCH in the local yards, I've been looking steadily for a couple of years now. Some dog dish hub caps would be cool as well. I have a set for an '83 F100 4x2, but unfortunately my truck is a 3/4 ton 4x4...

Just don't turn it into a Flea Market and I'm fine with it, at least for the time being.

I pulled one for somebody last week, and I'm pretty sure there's another one in the yard I go to. I'll be going by this week, so I'll be sure to check it out for you, bud.

This would of been usefull for me months ago, but I now have everything I need.

BUT 2 things.

I'm still looking for a factory FORD tailgate (87-91) model, just the plain one with the big F O R D letters stamped in.

And 4 dog dish hubcaps, I need 2 deep ones (rear full floater axle) and 2 front ones with holes for the 4x4.

F250 so 8 lugs.

Hey John, I have an 88 with the tailgate you're looking for. It's kinda rusty but it doesn't have holes in it as far as I know. I think the latches are kinda goofy in it, but it's been a while since I've used it and I've been looking at a lot of diff tailgates for my 84 so I might be mistaking i (the bad guts) for one of the older ones I have

DS2 duraspark harness 4.9 300, fits 80-86

I found a rare DS2 harness for a 4.9 300 six on my last junk yard trip. I bought it and posted it I the Ford Truck Parts for Sale

https://www.ford-trucks.com/forums/1...s-80-86-a.html

Not sure if anyone looks there for parts. I posted it for sale here on FTE instead of Ebay as they are hard to find. First one I have seen in a year.

Jim

A DS2 harness is an engine wiring harness that's compatible with the Duraspark II ignition system. They're pretty hard to find in good condition. You can find them online, but if you do find one that's new, it'll cost $150 at the least.

And harnesses for early-80s 6-bangers are particularly rare....
