What he said. They fit just fine but make sure you use the 97 thermostat and that bypass pipe may not come with the new 97 pump. FWIW, if you get a new 94 pump the factory Ford thermostat is a more desirable temperature. 203 versus 195 for the 97.

Yep like they said it will but uses a different design thermostat and the heater hose fitting is different. To be honest with you, keep the water pump for the 95 then you can use the 203 degree thermostat from any parts store. I swapped my 97 to a 95 water pump.

I know oreilleys carries a murrey brand one but I had to weld up pinholes in the last two I got. It wasn't an option just taking them back for return really. I'd recommend the Ford dealer just to be safe. Although the murrey brand does have a thicker flange. I've had one of them off a couple times now and no leaks there so that part is nice.
