fuel system ground failure

My 89 f150, 4.9, duel tank pickup is not getting ground to the fuel system. I have replaced all 3 pumps and grounded them direct to the frame. They run, but now the rear pump has failed. Is the way I grounded them OK? Please help.

Here's the schematic for a 88. The 89 fuel pump wiring should
be the same but the color code of the wires may be different.

All 3 pumps share the same ground which is G801.
G801 is a Black wire bolted to the radiator core support
behind the driver side headlight.

Manual describes location as LH inner fender behind headlight.

That ground wire is also used by a bunch of other items.

Both fuel gauge senders use the same ground G801.

Do both fuel gauge senders work?

The driver side headlight also uses G108 for ground.

Does the driver side headlight work?

Below is also a schematic for G801. It should be very close to the
89's wiring.
