So I'm finding I'm going to need a new clutch, 99 f250 5.4, its getting a lot of chatter, also a couple of syncro are pretty much shot, so I've been thinking of swaping a zf6 from a v10. I think what I would like the most when towing is the extra gear, the drop between 3rd & 4th is bad when going up a hill.
So my questions are would the transfer case bolt up?
Is the crossmember different between the two?
I'm sure I would have to change the driveshafts, as I know the the zf6 is longer.
Is there anything else I should think about with this swap? Anyone who has done this swap pipe up.
