I have a 2005 6.0 PSD. Ok, so here is what I did and now I am lost. I replace a belt tensioner (finally) and got the spring to release to put tension on the belt. Then I started the truck up for a few minutes to warm up the oil. I started draining the oil and went to change the oil filter and mistankingly opened the fuel filter instead. I did not change the fuel filer, just replaced the cap. Got the oil filter changed out, finished the oil drain and refilled the oil. Got everything cleaned up and went to start the truck and nothing but click, click, click. checked both batteries and connections and fuses for starter/ignition, all good. Any ideas, I am lost, and at the end of my rope? Thanks in advance.

 

i don't think that anything you did would make a click,click, click. do you mean the engine is not turning over and your hearing a clicking sound from the solenoid?

 

When you checked the batteries did you check them for voltage? I've run my battery down by playing the radio while working on it before. Perhaps your batteries are just low?
