IFS KIT

IFS KIT GOING IN, SPEEDWAY TECHS WERE VERY HELPFUL.

If you haven't committed the "plastic" yet, call FatMan Fabrications and get some more input. I used their IFS as it was designed around the 42-47 frame, not adjusted from another kit width. Their guys are similarly well versed. The more info you get, the better your decisions and end product will be.

too late for that, parts already in my shop. took the bed off today, next week it'll be install time, front end kit-motor & tranny mounts and a 9" rear.

i did not get them from speed way we made them in the shop, sorry i just saw your question..jim

Hi,
Is it possible to do an IFS conversion without lowering the front end a lot? I like the stance of my 47 pickup.

I didn't pay much attention at the time, but mine dropped 4-6" from looking at my original photo, and went from 14 to 15' wheels (22.5" dia tires).

Who knew ?

I do like the new "rake" though... P.S. Fatman did have a 2" lower kit which I didn't buy.
