Tank Selector Valve

so ive been searching a tank selector valve, ford wants 227 bucks and all the parts stores have some that they say are for my truck but the electrical connector is all wrong... whats the deal? do i just buy the one from the local parts store and change my harness connector???

are you sure your selector valve even is electrical? I thought most were the 6 port mechanical type.

mines a 6 port and on the bottom it has a connector for a harness. also, thats how it changes from tank to tank.
