Stalled on a turn!
06 f250 gas. 46k miles. I bought it at 36k miles. No problems at all until today. Just normal driving, no rough idle..... slowed down to turn into my drive, half way into the turn it just died. It started right back up. Wtf? Any ideas or experience? Thanks.

Sounds like you need a new gas tank. The internal baffle can rust out allowing the fuel to slosh to one side, temporarily starving the truck of fuel if below a certain level. Fill it up completely and make the same turn, should not cut out on you. This is a definite sign of a tank baffle signing out for the day.

Noted, but there's a strong 3/4 in the tank. Is this possible on a truck 5yrs old? Still has new truck smell inside........ but ooooh ****, it was hit in the rear. Maybe the tank isn't original.

I drove around 4 a while Saturday, didn't have a repeat issue. Fuel is about at 1/2 tank now. Maybe this was just a 1 time deal? One of those things? I just don't like the idea of my truck shutting off whenever. Not very safe.
