EGR Block Spacer

For now I would like to keep the stock intake. I would like to install a carb spacer that will also block off the EGR exhaust source port on the manifold. I am using an Edelbrock 750. I could just leave the EGR valve in place but a nice clean spacer plate would clean up the engine compartment (I know I'm ****). The engine is an 83 vintage out of a F series full size van and currently resides in my 66 F100. Any help or advice on this would be appreciated. I asked over on the 460 site with no answer. Thanks!

I have the stock intake on my 460, salvaged out of a 1979 pickup and installed in my 1965 motorhome. The EGR valve was gone and the passage blocked with some ugly 1/4" steel. Ultimately, I cut off the EGR connection as near the plate as I could and had a welding shop weld the openings closed. This allows me to use all the original gaskets and not replace the intake.

EGR

Thanks 460runner. I will install a Edelbrock Performer with a 1 inch 4 hole spacer later. For now I am just going to leave it disconnected and installed with new gaskets.
