{Dodge} 6.7 help

Ok I'm going to post this here because I'm sure not joining a cummins/'ram' forum!!! And I believ some of you guys have exp with them or have friends etc etc.

This is an 08' 5500 6.7 cummins unit (crane, deck, tool boxes etc). The dealer are complete goons and have yet to fix this thing most recently there a week and a half.
Issue: CEL and basically no power. No smoke, can hear turbo can still get speed but just falls on it's face going up hills/slight inclines. Seems like it should kick down and get ya going but it just doesn't and when it finally does it's just gutless. They just replaced the dpf recently and now the hpfp yesterday, picked up truck today got 25miles up the Alaska hwy and "ding ding" same ******* thing again! I hate running this truck!
What do you guys think, I meant to bring my dashdaq with me to at least read the code and maybe clear it but I forgot.

well I am sure that they have a provision for a limp mode and it sounds like that is what is happening to a certain extent.

Have they checked the EGR on this thing? Not sure of the turbo but what about the electronics to it.

Finally how does the truck communicate with the trans? I would be the same as ford, a TCM. Wonder if they are not talking correctly.

Not sure on the egr, il look into that. I was thinking of that as well: tcm. I've heard these have turbo issues but I'm not sure to what extent. I only have my iPhone (9hrs outa town) to try and google some info. I just wish they could get a handle on it it just seems like they guess at what to "fix", and I just don't have time to try myself!
Thanks!!

When this happens to a 6.7L Cummins, basically every emissions piece of equipment needs to be replaced. Why not go over to cumminsforum.com? They will get you squared away.

Ya I'll check that forum when I can get to a computer. From what lilttle info I found it sounds like limp mode will stay in 2nd gear so I think that is ruled out.
Thanks fellas

I had someone text me, P00F is Fuel system over pressure relief valve activated... Maybe it is staying activated? Causing lack of power and I think my mpg is down slightly, hard to tell with all the idling.

iPhone sucks for forum surfing, surprised even get 3g way the heck up here!

Really, I don't mean to be rude, but can we please stick to the correct brand of truck on these forums. If you don't want to be on a Dodge forum, then don't buy a Dodge, or don't ask questions about it. I have come here to read and discuss "FORD Truck Enthusiast" matter. Maybe you should email or P.M. someone.

Thanks for sticking up for me fellas!

Fireemt: I'm only on my iPhone so I can't see your profile, I don't mean to be rude but you could have easily skipped over this thread and kept our mouth shut and had of read my first post you'd have read it is a WORK truck-meaning I did NOT buy it!!!Again, I can't surf forums on my phone it doesn't work. I'm sure between ford and dodge there may be similar diagnostic tools/ideas we can share.
Thanks.
