I am wondering...can you pop the hood and rap on the fuel pump and see if that unsticks the relief valve?

Maybe you should email or P.M. someone.
So skip this one and read anther one. Its called editting!

Well, I guess the fact that there are Dodge forums out there, and the fact that I attempt to read ALL new postings on the FORD 6.4 Liter forum several times a day. I didn't mean to cause a big stink, but when off topic/out of place postings appear, it really does "water down" the specifics of what the forum is for. I think it is GREAT that everyone here is so helpful, and has so much to contribute. I also try to do my best to contribute. I just believe that it is not the appropriate forum, as it is for FORD 6.4 liter engines. I thought that if they knew each other so well, that they would P.M. or email each other instead of discussing topics not related to the forum. If I had help available, I would've helped as possible through another venue. Sorry for upsetting those whom I did.

I'm sure between ford and dodge there may be similar diagnostic tools/ideas we can share.
Thanks.
As for "kept your mouth shut", UNCALLED FOR! It does not matter if it is owned, or a WORK truck. This is a FORD forum. It's great that people here are willing to help others, as I myself am. But it is OFF TOPIC! Don't snap at me because I pointed out the obvious. You yourself said you just refuse to join the Ram/Cummins forum.

This is my final word on this. I did not say that you bought it. I stated "don't buy a Dodge, or don't ask questions about it. This meant either/or, not that you did buy it. I am sorry I upset you. Don't mis-quote.

Lets all be kind here and help the guy out..He is on travel with limited resources. If I had a break down I'd use whatever I had to get back on the road and home.

I should keep my mouth 'er puter shut too, but I won't. There is some validity to both sides of this argument. This is, afterall, a Ford 6.4 forum. I also think there's kindness lacking in response to FIRE's side of the argument. FIRE is not totally out of line. He may have stated some things rather harshly and some that could have been easily misunderstood. However, he and I joined this forum to read about and discuss Ford's 6.4. If we'd wanted to discuss Dodge we would have joined the Dodge forum. I'm with FIRE, lets dodge the Dodge in the future and ask the secretary how to connect to someone or some forum that can really help with a Dodge. Whether or not one wants to join a Ram/Cummins forum is a mute point. We're dealing with a Cummins here. I'm guessing there are very friendly helpful folk on that forum too.

That's the problem though Larry!!! No one can figure it out...yet.

My comment on not joining a cummins/dodge forum is based on my dislike or them but of course I will be there when I can get to a computer and do some research on my issues.

I joined this forum for the same reasons you guys all did. The mods can delete thread if need be.

No reason to delete, you have a broken truck that needs to get FIXED!

But it can't stay in the 6.4L forum, for reasons mentioned above.

Moved to General Diesel Discussion!

If you don't want to be on a Dodge forum, then don't buy a Dodge,
That to me implies saying he bought it. Seriously get your panties out yer a$$ buddy, grow up a little and don't be so offended about a member of this board asking for help on this board. He could have originally put it in the general diesel but lots of people are more comfortable in the boards they know.
