Waste Gate Controller
I have a E99 and wonder if I could improve mpg and performance by changing the waste gate controller (WGC).
I see one advertized that is basically a spring that hold the wate gate closed until pressure builds enough to force the waste gate open.
Others are like the Big Head by Banks that just offer better control.
I have also seen a thread on this forum saying to just disconnect the plastic hose that goes to the WGC and leave it shut.
I understand that the van turbo does not even have a waste gate!
How about some opinions, I know you all have them.

For a cheaper fix just take yours off and tighten it. Qwikkordead has a great video showing how to adjust them.

And MauleOne that kit I was just talking about is the best answer for our e99's but it does come at a price. But no more e99 problems!!
