i noticed that one of the braided oil lines coming from the hpop is leaking. i am going to replace the oring and lok-tite the leaking fitting. Only the one is leaking though, should i replace the oring and seal the other one also?
What he said... the O-ring kit comes with both so you might as well change them both out. Make sure you get the O-rings meant for high-pressure systems, though... I got mine from Ford since I was in a bind for time, but you can get the O-rings from Clay of Riffraff Diesel:
It can be the hose itself starting to leak and o rings won't fix anything. Clean it up a bit and make sure it's the o ring and not a line fixing to fail.
i double checked everything and cleaned for hours last night and it is defiantly coming from the seal on the right side if you are looking at the hoses. it is only leaking from where the threads are going into the HPOP. i bought the o-ring kit from dieselorings.com i plan on doing them both. Thanks again for the info

That's the same one that went out on mine... might be a conspiracy!? Here's my thread from when I replaced mine... might help you out some:
I don't know how it is on yours, but I could actually see pieces of the shredded O-ring that got pushed out from between the housing of the HPOP and the line fitting... either way, it made a mess!

i was thinking the same exact thing when i was looking at it last night, i swear i could see pieces of what looks like an o-ring that has been pushed out haha weird! Thanks for the thread to by the way ill be tearing in to it in the next couple of days when the rings get here!
