OK so i was looking for an EVTM and found a few here on the internet. I have an 84 Bronco, and i found an '84 EVTM but its like $30, and the '85 is only $10. How similar would they be? Is it worth the 20 dollar difference or are they going to be almost exactly the same?
I have never dealt with anything more expensive or more accurate than a Haynes manual.
In the realm of electrical, the 84 and 85's might as well be identical UNLESS you are dealing with a fuel injected 85. (This was the early transition year to EFI for the light trucks). This would of course change vacuum information as well.
Are you sure the 85 isn't just supplemental to the changes in 85? Like an add on to the 84? I know factory service manuals are like that at times. When i bought my 96 the previous owner through in both drivetrain and electrical ford factory service manuals(almost bibles i swear an the price and size to go with it)for the 96 F series.I also have the Hanyes, which is as detailed, but thats to be expected. Back when i worked in the motorcycle industry it's easy to get spoiled on dealer/factory service tech manuals vs aftermarket.

That is a good point, im actually not sure. They are on amazon and the description is very limited. Sounds like i ought to find more factory manuals haha, i dont like the guessing that is sometimes involved with haynes manuals.
