Cool where at in Cartersville? I stopped here local and looked at a 73 LWB today but the guy wasn't home. I gave his wife my number and he is supposed to call me this afternoon.

I see trucks pop up all the time in Cville between the $500-$1000 range, but I never have the cash to sccop them up. Have you seen the truck? I may have passed by it on my way to work.

Welcome to the forums, Pop's.

I live in Marietta currently. We've been all around Cartersville looking for trucks also. I can't seem to find what I'm looking for though.

What are you looking for, if you don't mind me asking? I am in construction so I am in and out of little hidden subdivision and communities and see trucks for sale all the time. Thank you for the welcome.

I'm looking for a 66 F100 4x4 shortbed. I would also like to find a restorable 56 F100(2wd), but they seem to be a little easier to find than the specific 66 I'm looking for.

Dang. your a week late. The guy that gave me the flathead sold his 56 to have the money to finish his 38. I don't recall any 66's lately, I usually see 53-56 and 67-79 ranges often. But I do know a guy who loves the 64 65 66 models. He just finished a 65 unibody. I will talk to him tomorrow and see if he has any leads.

Thanks for keeping me in mind.

If you run across anymore of the 56's that appear to have a good body on them for under $3K, let me know.

Yes, there are actually three close to me. One is about 2-3 tenths of a mile from my house and the other two are across town. One of those two is open Mon -Sat and the other is just whenever you can catch the guy there. There is also another one in Taylorsville which is about 15 mins from my house.
