Icm socket size?

1994 f150 302 remote icm
So here I am trying to change my icm and wouldn't you know I can't get the two bolts out to swap them. It just a normal hex head socket and none of my sockets work on it. I found out you need a special tool, so I went and bought one and that doesn't grab onto the bolt head either. So what size socket am I looking for?

if they don't have the right size socket, most parts stores have a special tool you can buy for a few bucks, does the job very well. Look for "ford tfi" tool or something similar IIRC.

The "Ford TFI" tool is preferable anyways, cause it's pretty thin-walled and so fits well in the holes in the TFI, whereas some sockets have slightly thicker walls and so may not fit.
