Front Sway Bar

Got the parts today that I need to redo the front of my X. Started on the sway bar and going to move forward. Did the left side (driver) knew it went to good. When I moved to the right (passanger) side one glance I knew there was a problem. I must admit that I am tired right now but it looks as if you have to drop the exhaust down to get the sway bar link(to the frame)off. I hope I am missing something but I don't think so, if I am please tell me. I also purchased the Hayes manual and are they for real on thier torque settings, they have the Trackbar upper mounting bracket listed as 406 ft/lbs!

I don't remember the torque settings for ya, but the passenger side you need to take the mount off that is mounted to the frame. You see the two screws pointing straight down that hold it in. Once off you can get the top mount out, and back on before bolting the mount back down.

Torque on track bar bolts is correct. Give this one to a good tire shop to mount for you--if you do the track bar.

Sway bar end links should be much easier.
