PCM Issue

I have been told by the dealership that they can't plug into my pcm and get a reading. They think this is because I have had a chip or programmer on my truck. I bought my truck used and was told that it was stock everything. I have now bought a tunner and it will not download tunes. Is there anyway for me to reset the truck to stock without going to the dealership, or get the tunes to just download the way it is?

sounds like a new PCM to me....where did you buy the truck from? Take it back, make them correct it.

I bought it from a private seller so there is no taking it back. I was just told by the dealership that they may be able to reset it back to stock but if not then yes a new PCM it will be....

Hope that you will still have some factory warranty with it reset to stock...I would verify what remains.

Ask kindly for an OASIS since you are paying the bill.

My warranty is all gone anyway because of all the other mods I have done. I have a very limited motor warranty left. This may be a stupid question be what is "OASIS."
