A little history. About 2 monthes ago I was going thru a car wash and I lost a light well the amber cover. So I go to the Ford dealer right down the road and the dont have any, but they notice that the black mounting piece is cracked stright down the back were the screw goes. They send me to another dealer that has the light in stock. Weird but life is good they took care of it under warranty. So yesterday going thru a different car wash a different amber cover goes bye bye. So I go home and look all of the remaing 4 are cracked the exact same way. So the dealer took a bunch of pix and are sending them to Ford. Has anyone else had any issues? This is my 4th Super Duty and I dont think I even ever replaced a bulb in one of these before. Oh so I put a drop of super glue on each to hold them on and the dealer put some thing in the screw hole to keep water from coming in.

How old is your truck? Mine was built in early December and I don't see any signs of cracking. Wonder if it was an overly zealous factory installer who tightened down the screws too far? I know in our manufacturing area, they have screwdrivers set for various torques depending on what they are building. Wonder if the wrong torque was applied.
