Transfer Case Question
I have a 97 F150 4X4 4.6V8 and i'm pretty sure I have tore up a gear in my transfer case. I have found some used transfer cases local for around $300-$400, just needed to know if someone with this problem could tell me on the transfer case tag I have two sets of numbers the top line is (5-956A) and the bottom line is (3 55 88 6E08). The used parts place list two transfer cases for my model year a Warner 1356 manual shift, and a Warner 4406 manual shift. Can anyone tell me right off which one fits my vehicle with this info or should I call my local Ford shop and hopefully they have someone that knows what they are talking about. If someone has access to that info my VIN# is 1FTDF1866VNA83880. Would appriciate any help! Thanks guys!
