I currently havea 03 6.0 with 111,000 miles banks six gun and instake and i did the exhauset myself. I have been thinking for a while about upgrading to a 6.4. I have seen alot of guys online running 6.4 with spartin tuners and AFE intakes and 5 inch straight exhaust DPF and EGR delets, is it all worth it? Will i get better millage, power, and drivability from a stock 6.4 to a modded 6.4, is it better then the 6.0?
from what I've read on here, and by what I'm seing so far with my spartan, that's about what you'll get with a modified 6.4.(roughly, depends on gears also)
My 05 350 6 speeder would get 20-21 on average empty and aroudn 12 with a 6k load behind it.
The "new" 08 450 stock was looking at 10-12 and now after soem tuning and allowing things to walk away in the exhaust system she is looking at 16-16.5 on winter fuel. Gonna leave the hood open one night and see if the EGR will bolt for freedom as well.
