I can get a crossfire 600 watt mono amp for real cheap. I dont know much at all about crossfire. How are they? Are they poor quality? Would I be better off getting a fosgate amp?
go for it, but give it a good inspection. check the terminals, fuse holder for charded marks, case so its not been beat up or abused, and make sure it works. also, if its stolen...dont give it a thought...
It is a crossfire bmf600d. The amp is in perfect shape and is like a year old. I can get it for 150 to 200 dollars. What does a new on like this run me? Should I do it for that price? How will crossfire compare to fosgate??
fosgates are overrated in my opinion (yes, i know i still run one). thier way to over priced unless u know where to get em from. with that said i mean the newer stuff (2000+) basically all the major brands of amps are the same quality and vary from each other with different options and gizmos and such (alpine, US Acoustics, Fosgate, Crossfire, JBL, JL, Kicker, etc...) check out a few online car audio stores to get an estimate...also check e-bay, may find what ya want cheaper or to get an idea if ur gettin a deal...
BMF's are awsome amp's. I have a bmf1000d pushing two square 10's and it's probably one of the sweetest amps ive ever seen. the bmf line is 1ohm stable which makes it a very efficient amp. crossfire amps are awsome.
