I can see that and im jealous....the only good thing about this heat is that its a dry heat!!!!!so 126 degrees and 0 humidity is a good thing right????

I guess this thread has gotten OT so I will ask a question: What, if anything, can a person do to legally protect ones property from damage? Not, what you would like to do, but what legal rights do you really have?

This is my understanding of the law in KY:
If you can prove someone has damaged your vehicle (witnesses, video, photos) you have two options. You can file in small claims court, or you can file a criminal complaint. They won't be arrested, but they will be summoned to appear in court.
If your vehicle is in a public place, and they crawl around on it without damage, there is really nothing you can do about it. If it is on your own property and they crawl around on it, without damage, you can nave them charged with trespassing, ONLY if your property is properly posted. Otherwise, you can just ask them to leave.
