Hi guy's,
I am pulling out my hair trying to find 6 little clips. I need to mount the oval emblem (says FORD on top and 250 below, with "camper special" in the middle). to the front fenders on my 66 F-250. it requires a "push in" clip that will receive the three studs on the back of these emblems. (no access to the back side without pulling the fender). I've tried the auto stores, and the local nuts and screws store, and nothing. Does anyone out there have any idea where I can find 6 of these??
Thanks
Mark
I had the same problem with the CUSTOM CAB and ran to many stores that people suggested. However in your case your pins are bigger and I believe that the rubber plugs for a 1965 and older VW BEETLE may work. the side chrome has clips that push into these rubber plugs. You probably will need to cut the tip off because your posts are probably longer the the standard clips. When you pry your old emblems off the clips should remain in the fenders. Perhaps some type of adhesive and you old clips will hold??? The VW hickies are rubber so I would probably add adhesive there anywyas. Perhaps you can contact someone who makes these repro and see if they would just sell the clips? I ended up just buying new CUSTOM CABs and getting the new clips.
