cold starting issue
Well folks just woundering if any you folks have a great cold start or may have to
turn the key twice? My 2005 Eddie Bauer you have to crank twice in warm weather; but now these few past weeks where we have seen some wild cold like 2* & wind chill @20 to 30 below zero it will start just super great. kind of wild huh or is this common? Any good 411 to fix this symptom would be nice.

"wild cold" ??? Today in Fairbanks Alaska it's -40F ( no wind chill) and my 2006 Expy will not start. Seems the tape player thinks it needed to run to keep warm, I guess. It ran the battery down.
I'll trade you issues.

My first thought is to replace the coolant temperature sensor. If that doesn't solve the problem then your fuel pump is likely worn out.
