Hello from Louisiana
Well figured i should introduce myself. I have a '90 F-150 Extra Cab long bed with a 4.9l and a E4OD, that will soon be getting a 393w. Im living in Louisiana, but im originally from Washington State. I moved down here because im in the Air Force. Im stationed at Barksdale AFB, and before this i was stationed at Misawa AB, Japan for 2 years. I picked my truck up for $800 in need of paint, a transmission and some TLC. And after a trans rebuild and some spray paint for now, she is back on the road and im loving her. Like i said above im planning on doing a 351 swap, so im going to be looking for alot of advice and parts while im here. Im debating if i should do a 92-96 front clip conversion or leave the original front end on before i send her off for paint. Anyway, im a little off track. Ive always been a Ford fan since i was in diapers. I have a '68 F-100 back home in Washington that im waiting to get sent down here so i can give her the TLC she needs from the years ive been away from her. Everyone in my family as far as i can remember has owned and driven fords, it wasnt until i was 18 and needed a vehicle that i purchased my first GM product. I regret that purchase to this day. lol. Anyway, enough babbling from me. If you want to know anything else feel free to ask, and i am looking forward to poking my head in around here and getting my old girl back to her former glory days plus some.
Thanks!!
Thanks!!

Welcome to FTE and congratulations on a neat pair of Ford trucks, nice to see your keeping them alive and well! Moving around makes it even tougher so I`m glad to see your sticking with it.
I prefer the 92-96 design so I would do that front clip conversion.
