Don't have a clue about what is wrong and the tech that looked at it didn't do boards.

Whatever happened to the old days when we just took stuff apart and rebuilt it. Like alternators, generators, starters, etc.

I dug 12 holes 37 inches deep, with a manual post hole digger. Then I planted and cemented all 12, 4 foot post in the ground for the new deck. I am sun burned, and sore. I will be working on it throughout the week, if I can find time, and then my Father in law, and Brother in law are planning on coming down to assist me in assembly.

If you keep that workout up, and limit your calories (especially the beer), you could even lose a few more pounds.

Tonight we move forward on the deck, lots to think about, to make sure it goes right, I have been sitting out back all week looking everything over, so that when we get started, I will have a plan for nearly everything. (hopefully)

Well, thank you for trying! I appreciate it!

I imagine we will get along fine, its going to be a big project, but we will be working with large pieces, so that will help.

We finished the main section of the floor of the deck tonight, then just as the sun was going down we trimmed the end of the deck, to get all of the boards the same length. I haven't seen it in the daylight yet.
Next step is the grill pop-out. Its stationary, but it is offset from the main deck portion.
After that will be the steps, then the railing..

Then its BBQ time!!

Awesome job Curtis. We moved a lot of brick last weekend. Clint dumped a bunch of sand yesterday, and I think is going after rock tomorrow for the fence project.

Tonight I got the Grill bump-out done, and started on the stairs. Julie came out and helped for a bit, she put on all the endcaps on the planks.
