I have developed a coolant leak in my 04 excursion 6.0ltr. and can't figure out where the heck it is coming from.. The puddle is located in the right side rear under the truck. Any help in narrowing this down would be appreciated. Oh yeah their is no sign coolant in exhaust.
Go ask your question on the 6.0L Forum. When you say right side which right are you refering to? Also make sure your coolant level is at MIN in your degas bottle when cold. Any more than that and you are overfilled.
Also let us know milage. Have you changed your coolant yet?
The more information the better.
there is only 1 right side of an engine and thats the passenger side. and its not over filled.
It's just a small matter of perception, your point of view , just needed to ask to make sure. Check the heater hoses on that side. IIRC there are two hoses that come out of the fire wall and Y into one. Hopefully you should be able to follow some type of trail back to the source.
Is the right side rear at the engine or rear tire area?
