Ok, so me and my buddy were talking las night (yes, we had a few beers).
Imagine you are toolin through outer space in your Power Stroke, (4 High of course) travelling at exactly the speed of light. you reach over and flip on you Hella driving lights, would anything happen?

Whenever I've traveled at the speed of light in my PSD Excursion, turning on my lights has always helped.

I tell you what though, I'm tired of Martians calling my 6.0 space junk.

You should try it in reverse sometime...the headlights project twice as far.

HaHa Are you sure you were only drinking a few beers?? Actually I think it would be like a double negative and the light would end up behind you. So put the beer down and look in your rear view mirror. But if you were driving a 7.3 it might be lighting up your cup holder good thing for the beer. Ed

That's awesome.

I remember watching a couple guys arguing over who would win in a fight ... Superman or Bruce Lee. A lot of beer was involved then too. I was laughing my *** off, they were nearly coming to blows.

The biggest problem I see you having is that if you are going close to the speed of light then you are doing 670,616,000 miles per hour.
If you have an oil change interval of 5,000 miles, then you'll have to change your oil every 0.027 seconds.
So if you drove for an hour you'd have 134,123 oil changes.
At 15 quarts per oil change you'd need 502,962 gallons.

That means you'd have to be towing one helluva trailer!!!

Towing all that weight could mean you'd have to up your oil change interval to 3,000 miles for some serious duty. Then the amount of oil you would need would increase, and so would the trailer, might need to change the oil change interval ... etc...

Disclaimer ... if you're a high school kid reading this, don't remember it. Relativity comes into play and I ain't responsible for an 'F' on your grade paper if you write this stuff on your test!!

Yes, something would happen and it's pretty obvious what would happen, just think about it in different terms. What would happen if you were driving at the speed of light and threw your beer can forward out the window at the speed of light (remember, no friction)....

Does that clear it up?

u

I'd opt for changing the oil by time instead of mileage!

another buddy just said: It would take a few minutes but your truck would eventually be bathed in the eerie glow of blue flashing lights.

Apparently, in accordance with one of Einstein's laws, you would take too much time fumblin around for the switch, drive into a large ditch and break a ball joint or sumthin. When you call 4 a wrecker those folks call the law and they turn on the lights.
