CV Joint replacement???

CV Joint replacement???
How durable are Expy CV joints, generally? 2004 EB in particular?
I figure I am soon going to be tearing down the front end to replace a leaking seal, and the CV joint will be off. Maybe I should just replace? At 164k, its got to be pretty "broke in" shall we say --
But if they generally keep going for much longer, then I may as well re-install it (assuming its not all sloppy with too much play).
If I do decide to replace, anyone have opinions about new versus remaned? My local O"reillys has new for 90 and reman for 60 Both with LLW, but when things fail, its the labor and hassle that is the issue.....
