cold engine start

cold engine start

I noticed in the owner manual that there is indicator somewhere showing cold engine prior to start. I had it on my 97. Cant find it on the 11. Had 06 degree start last week, rare here in Texas, but can not find that indicator. Anyone know where it is? Is it a flash on then off like those other ones? Thanks.

Here it is:

It only comes on for a second or two in the coldest weather; you have to watch for it!

Thanks. It was on for a while, 2-3 sec, on my 97, but much more effecient here. Bet you are lot more fam with it in Wi than I am here in Texas, sitting in a garage. Thanks a lot for the reply and the graphic. I can remember that and will look now. thans again. I sure like my new 11 and bet you do too.

I believe you'll see it for engine starts where the coolant is below 150°.
