Hope this helps...I know it's a brain strain, but if you do the math and take in all the weight factors....I set us up to where we are always 10 to 15 percent below or under all weight factors. It's safer, less wear and tear on all equipment etc...

Everything Pete wrote is right on the money.

If I was going to pull that load I would prefer a 4x4 dually (I needed 4x4 several times and didn't have it) and a diesel engine.

But not the 6.0L. I could tell you volumes of reasons to not get a 6.0L Ford diesel

I was thinking dully this time till my wife reminded me it would not fit in my garage. That settled it I am buying an SRW, like my truck out of the weather.
