Brake Booster Question

So I replaced my booster and master cylinder with a A-1 Cardone assembly from O'Riley auto parts here in Dallas. Put on and bled system and as soon as I touch the brake pedal it makes a wooshing sound and kind of sticks then releases slowly. Is that a bad booster? have good vacuum to booster.

Any one recommend a particular brand for reman brake parts?

Are their any rod adjustmetns on these?
Thanks

How far is the pedal going down? Near the floor?

not all the way but close...only when the engine is running. Have good pedal when off...got to be a bad booster or ck valve on booster?

It sounds like you still have air in the lines. From the description in your first post, it sounds like you did not bench bleed the master cylinder. If you didn't, it probably has air in the master still. It takes a lot of strokes with the master cylinder in the vise before all the air is out of it.

Did not bench bleed bacause they did not supply kit and I did not have anything that would work. I guess I could go get a kit. Disconnect the m/c and do it on the truck?

Why would the pedal feel ok with the engine off?

Very good. I pulled a lot of fluid thru the system with my air blessed and felt like I got it clear. Will try again with a proper bench bleed and go from there. Thx
