Fuel trouble
Long story, short.
87 E350 motor home, 460 4 bbl carb ele fuel pumps.
It will start run for 5-15seconds and dies, no mater how you pump the gas. Hit the key fires right back up. 5-15 seconds and it dies. on an on!
Rebuilt the carb new fuel filter and regulator. So Im thinking the fuel pump is priming in the start mode but not running once in run. I unhooked the oil presser switch that controls fuel pump safety shut off. and the van runs good, (in tell it loads up, need to tune carb) Is this a fluke or can the van run with out this plugged in? Or dose it act as a kill switch? Any one with a wire diagram please?
