I'd like to swap out the 460 for a small block. Could I drop a 351W in? Auto trans.
No, trans bellhousing bolt pattern is specific to the 460, 351w is different. You would need a trans for a 351w, + proper motor mounts and electronics......Big job, but not impossible. For the expense involved you could buy a lot of gas to feed the 460, and 351w mpg is only marginally better.
