first sound system HELP!!!!!!!!!
I have 1 ten and 2 6x9 and a amp. I was wondering if i hooked my amp to my head unit then hooked the speakers to the head unit. Will it work the same has having it to the amp??? please help

Hook the 6x9's directly to the head unit, and run the sub with the amp. The sound of the 6x9's won't be as good as if they were being pushed by the amp, but it won't sound like crap either (depending on the head unit).
Or buy a 4 channel bridgeable amp. Then you can run the 6x9's and bridge the other 2 channels for the sub.
