this was NOT a problem with FTE. It's a problem specific to your accounts. Despite having been here for a long time, and making many posts, both of you had your primary usergroup set as 'Registered-new' which was limiting the number of attachments you're allowed to have, to 5.

I have fixed it, but would imagine there are others in the same situation. Mod team, I'll outline the fix in the mod forum.

Great news Rob! I know of several others that are having the same problem in my chapter, and I'm sure they'll want to know how to fix this. Thanks to the team for figuring this out!

 

I re-tried, no joy. So I re-booted, logged out, then logged back in. Here is my test:

"Upload Failure"

PS -- are you saying I changed my profile to "Registered - New"? I sure didn't.

Is this a setting we have control over?

So, I tried it. Went here:



Selected a gallery and tried to upload a picture.
Got this:



Then I went here:



selected an album to edit and was able to upload these to show you the error I am getting.

 

hey BACA, you're asking about something that's entirely separate from this thread, albums are not the same as attaching images to posts.

I agree, having that Gallery link there is confusing, I will see if we can remove that link

Well I still can't upload to my Gallery or Albums at all. Or from the PC into a thread. It sucks.

 

3rd try.... same ol', same ol' "Upload Failure"

I even logged out and back in, no difference

 

I am really not sure what to say. We are a bit stumped.

We will continue digging, and thank you for your patience.

You can continue to upload images to your site albums, and link them into your posts that way as a work-around.

some of us have galleries, so can't take that away.
