I believe the wiring is the same for the power fold as the manual fold on the accessories (heat, signals, etc), you just don't hook up the folding wires.

Let me know when and where you will be, I will run into it and rip the 08 mirrors off for ya....

.... then go around and do it to the other side, too.

I am. I have been wanting the 2008-2011 power folds/telescope/heat/adjust/signal/makes me a cup of coffee in the morning setup... the whole nine yards. Also wanting to stick some covers on it and paint them gloss black to match the truck.

the only ones i found (FD127ES-L/R) did not have the power fold, just signal and heat.

here you go this is what i found...too $$$ for my purposes (i'll risk the troublesome youths out there!)

2008 Ford Super Duty Power Extend & Folding Towing Mirror Retrofit Kit for 99-20

plus, i plan on selling my truck when i am done doing everything i want to it, and of course enjoy it for a while...only to get a new truck! so this may not be the most cost efficient for me...

I know this is an old thread, but did you notice if the wiring for for the power folding/telescoping option were on your door wiring? I have an 08 with manual folding and want to swap to the power folding.
